One of the century-old church is located here at Calamba, St. John the Baptist Parish Church. Even the church is far to our residence, we make it a point to go to mass here every Sunday.
St. John the Baptist Parish Church was built in 19th century which was made of adobe.
Characterized by its semi-circular pediment, the church has been greatly renovated.
During the church sermon, the priest mentioned our National hero, Jose Rizal was baptized here by Fr. Pedro Casaqas three days after his birth. House of Rizal is just beside this church.
On the church yard are the replica of Garden of Getsemane, station of the cross and the grotto.
Big and huge trees surrounded the yard. Check this out how huge the trees are when we took Raf’s picture running…
Since the church has a great ambiance, lot of churchgoers including tourists attend the mass. That is the reason we ended up sitting here beside the post.

Hi. This is in Calamba near the plaza beside House of Rizal and Banga. It is not part of Canlubang.
Nasasakop ba ng Canlubang yung church na to?
