Shape-Up with this Free Morning Exercise

It is a Sunday weekend when my youngest daughter woke us up early to do biking.  Even it is too early (as in 4:00 am in the morning)  Jam is pushing herself to learn how to bike.

Being supportive to her, what we did is to go to Calamba Plaza near St. John the Baptist church and what surprise us are bunch of people doing their exercise routine at this early morning.

As I remember it right, these are the same people who were doing their exercise beside Aplaya and they called their group “Calamba Bay Walk Dancers” headed by Ms. Nimfa’s group.

They transfer here when Aplaya was greatly hit  by Ondoy storm where  water in Laguna de Bay overflow and leave the place devastated.

The activity start with a combination of Taebo and Hip-Hop dancing headed by an exercise guru which I love to join with.

Second activity would also be a combination of aerobics and a bit of modern dance.

When I have the chance to talk to Ms. Nimfa, she share that this activity would be a call in the alarming trend of people developing diabetes, heart disease, hypertension these days.  They simply like to live healthy and promoting this advocacy for more than four years now.

They also ask assistance with the local city government who also coordinate with them as a way of contribution in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

For those who are not yet aware with these activity,  this is held every Saturday and Sunday,  4:00 to 7:00 am,  the group is  providing aerobics exercise to anybody who would like to lose weight, tone their bodies and sweat if off.

The best thing, this is FREE. If you’ve always wanted to enroll in a fitness program and you realize you can’t afford it, why not join these great activities which can help you get the exercise you need without breaking your budget.

Anyway, it’s up for you to donate from P1 to P20.

Good thing also with these activities, you can still enjoy the scenery beside the Calamba church and Rizal’s house as we huff and puff away to  slimmer, sexier and healthier bods.  Will definitely update this post once they will return to Aplaya.
