If this is your first time to go to Calamba, you will never miss to go to Rizal’s ancestral house located beside the Calamba church.

According to history,  the proximity of this ancestral home to the church implies the family’s influence and wealth.   It was built in Spanish architectural style and was one of the first stone and hardwood houses in Calamba.

From the entrance is the karwahe, part of the memorabilia here at the house.

This is the house rule posted from the entrance.  At this point, this is the only part we can take pictures including the stairs.

Every time we go to church every Sunday, we make it a point to visit Rizal House.  Anyway, the entrance here is free.  We love seeing all the rooms where furniture built in hard wood.

Outside the house is the replica of Rizal’s childhood.

This is the replica also of the Nipa Hut where Rizal and his sisters playing.

Have took a shot on the scheduled opening in case you are interested to visit Rizal’s House.

    hi, i and my students planned to visit bahay ni Rizal in Calamba on September this year. is there any maximum number of visitors and how much is the entrance fee?

    hi mam…i’m a college instructor of the isabela state university. we are planning to have a trip at rizal’s ancestral house on september 9. there will be probably 200 students with us. how can we make arrangements for the said trip?

    We are planning to stay at La vista Pansol Resort tomorrow, but we wanted to drop by Jose Rizal’s house first. We will be driving our own car, what exit should we take and can you please tell me also the route from Rizal’s House to La Vista. Thank you so much.

    Hi Graciel.

    If you were coming to Manila, take a ride in Buendia Taft and look for a bus going Sta. Cruz Laguna. Tell the conductor you will go down to Crossing Calamba.

    From Crossing Calamba, you can take a jeep going route to Bayan ng Calamba or you can also take a tricyle and ask to take you to Jose Rizal’s house.

    Yes, it is open every Sunday, 8am – 5pm.

    Hi Camille. You can get your ride from Enchanted Kingdom going to Calamba by taking a jeep from Sta. Rosa Market.
    From Calamba, Crossing, you can ride a tricycle and ask them to bring you to Rizal’s House at City Plaza.

    Rizal’s House is open whole day, Tuesday to Sunday…

    Hi! I’m going to enchanted kingdom but i would like to know how to get from enchanted to rizal house?? is it expensive to ride a taxi ?? is it true that the bahay ni rizal is only open at 8am to 12pm?? tues to sunday??
