Calamba City- Laguna, Hot Spring Capital of the Philippines

One of the summer events that our family always anticipated is to look forward for our Visita Iglesia escapade here in Laguna. I make it a point that our kids will still reminiscence lenten season and at the same time enjoying it.

Aside from art galleries, vintage stores and restaurants, Cubao Expo has a selection of boutiques to choose from…

Another antique store here is the Heritage – good source of wood craft selections, paintings and some rare vintage stuffs.

Funny, it’s kinda nostalgic trip of the past decade. I remember my grandmother’s dining area having this crochet work art at the top.

Cubao-Expo is just beside Cubao Terminal, the last drop-off point if one will be coming to the southern places (Laguna, Batangas, Lucena) like me.

We are very excited this Sunday because of the recognition day of my daughter which will be held at the function room of Splash Mountain.

It’s a busy day for the family yet excited with the performance of Jeng and Jam’s school musical play. My daughters will be performing at Umali Hall located inside U.P. Los Baños.

Who can forget this resort when we were still in college? Just to recall my blast from the past memories, we were stranded then on the road going Laguna and what the tricycle driver recommended to us was the Cuyab Hot Spring Resort here in Bucal.

Second stop that we explore in Bucal is the Blusyl Spring Resort. We thought this is a public resort but what we found out is that there are five (5) private pool to choose from.
