Baywalk in Calamba
If there is one thing that fascinates the whole site of Laguna de Bay with the scenery of mountains within is going to our own version of Baywalk which what we called here in Calamba as “Aplaya”.

Lot of water lilies beside the shore line captivates the beauty of its own version of nature in the bay.

The whole post within the sea hold the bay boundaries that also give light to those who visited the place early in the morning or late evening.

Even the clouds and the sky coordinates the beauty of the whole scenery.

Still, there are lot of activities to do here – like strolling, take a jog or just seeing the whole scenery where you will find people in all walks of life.

Simple fishing where kids and adults enjoy these bonding activities.

Looking for different kind of birds that visited the area.

One that struck to my attention is this man just beside the sea shore that waiting for something. I wonder how he manage to go up and sit there with this bamboo stick.

As I observe this man, now I know he is aiming for something – either to shoot a bird or a fish which is quite a remorse activity to do. We have to save the sanctuary of the lives around the bay rather than getting them or worst killing them.

This area serve as a small port for transporting people and different goods from other places.

Boats that varies from different sizes that also depicts the lives of every people living within these places.

This is how I capture a simple life here in the baywalk as I depict this picture essay to the people of Calamba.

Truly a gem I can share as we continue to explore its beauty.

How to go here – by commute using tricycle:
- From St. John the Baptist Church, look for a tricycle and tell him to bring you to Aplaya. Regular fare is P 30.00
