Poinsettia at DAP Garden

Got attracted at DAP Garden in front Calamba City Hall  as lot of poinsettia sprawling around the store.  Once you saw this rare flower, it is a signal Christmas is already here.

Poinsettia usually blooms before December, making them an ideal holiday plant.

There are common mistakes that poinsettia’s leaves are actually the flower petals.  If you look at the center, the yellow buds are the flowers.

The  upper portion of the leaves blooms in variety of hues.  The most  common ones is the red shade.  The small ones cost P 250.00, while those that are big in sizes are P 750.00 each.

Got to see also these white ones in the garden.

What caught me is the spotted ones – combination of red and white.

Since I will also be decorating our garden, have look for varieties that will partner the colors of poinsettia.  Have found this hue color of plants.

Love the center or the inner part of this plant.  Cost is P 250.00 each.

There are still lot of small plants all over the place.

I will have to go back to this garden and definitely will get this one as I enjoy not only taking pictures but to be green in spirit.

Have to rush home as I am excited to display my new purchase plants in our quaint, small garden as I am looking it every  morning and reminded me the joy of Christmas.
