Exploring San Pablo’s Sampaloc Lake (Part 2)
After our boat ride, now its time to explore the whole area.
Actually, we been here two years ago and that time, I am not yet into blogging. There are quite many changes. This tilapia statue was not noticeable then but because they painted it, it becomes a tourist attraction.
The front area has this steel fence that makes the place more friendly to the kids who play along the area.
For our next activity, we rent a bike for only P 10.00. It ranges, actually. Mountain bike rent is P 15.00 while the pedicab is P 30.00.
Since I am biking, I took pictures through my cellphone. Quite amazed to myself that I got a great picture here. Maybe it depends, if the place has a great subject like Sampaloc Lake, then you cannot get wrong how nature folds the beauty by itself.
Another nice shot here…
Another one here as I love capturing it. Now I appreciate my camera phone more than ever. LOL!
There are also lot of joggers along the area. I suggest to put some sort of reminders to those vehicles to give way to both joggers and bikers and limit their speed limit in driving.
What also surprises me are lot of kiosk stores sprout along the Sampaloc lake like selling street food.
To tell you honestly, it is the first time that my kids will try these food stuffs like esaw as they are intrigued with some of their friends who invited them to taste it. They have asked our permission if we will allow them. For us, it is just ok. Verdict, they don’t tell me if its delicious or not. Maybe the experience of indulging the taste is enough for them.
Definitely, we will truly come back for more and will explore other San Pablo’s wondrous seven lakes.
