Meet the Famous Chic-Boy here in Calamba

My son was so happy to share us that he found Chic-Boy near Real.  Are you gay as Jeng laughed asking this question to his brother.  Raf explained to her that Chic-Boy is actually a new resto which is short for Chicken and Baboy.

Chic-Boy has this flavorful taste of Visayan dishes specifically Cebu.  My kids are quite oriented with Cebu Lechon as I gave this as one of my treats to them whenever I was assigned in Cebu for projects and trainings.  Now we have a chance to taste Cebu food right here in Calamba.

Again, Sunday was the best time for us as we rushed to Paseo Uno de Calamba – another sprouting mall that gave birth to new restos around.

My son is a huge rice eater.  He ordered liempo with unlimited rice for P 99.00 and to go with it, had this bottomless iced tea for P 25.00.  For sharing in a group, one can avail also the Cebu Lechon Liempo for P 160.00.

Our family ordered Cebu Lechon Manok and rice. Price for the whole chicken is P 210.00 and half is P 120.00.  Yes, the price is sooo affordable and the taste is really sweet and flavorful.  For practical reason, I would rather buy the whole chicken rather than cooking it at home.

We cannot get along with the meal without the vegetable.  What we did was to tried their Sauteed Garlic Kangkong which is only P 35.00 per plate.  I love the dash of garlic all over the dish that make it palatable to eat.

To compliment the whole meal, we also tasted the Ensaladang Manga complete with tomatoes, onions and bagoong.

Overall, we are definitely satisfied.  Almost all are unlimited – rice, soup, iced tea and garlic bits.

Even it is unlimited,  we reminded our kids to just get enough.  Never, never waste.  Do not take more than they can eat. If one leave the food on the plate, it will be a trashed already.

My kids told me to come back again.  They love to  pig-out the sisig and sinigang na baboy.  Who am I to say no if family are very, very satisfied?
