Nuvali Dirt Bike Weekend 2011 Now On

Now it is really “ON”!

The biggest bicycle trail race is back as I personally headed on last Sunday – November 27, 2011 at Nuvali as I announced my post with this link.

At first I was quite confused but when I checked the activity map, there was a huge terrain after the baseball field where the event will be held.

One can never be lost because of the banner all over the place going to the venue.

Nuvali’s Dirt Weekend was a 2-day action packed adventure where thousands took part to enjoy different major bike events enthusiasts and competitive cyclist.

These activities were:

• Cross Country – testing trail endurance in Nuvali’s mountain bike trail.

• 24-Hour Race – strategy, endurance and lot of pedaling tested the bikers from sunset, sunrise to sunset again

• Four Cross – riders fly on jumps, zip through berms and sprint to the finish line

There were also lot of bike exhibitions we have seen represented from Davao – a death-defying stunts rolling from one table to one another!  Bike stunts were great yet so very entertaining.

After the bike event, feature performances from the country’s best bands – General Luna and Urbandub capped off the celebration to make the weekend more exciting.

Kudos to Nuvali for the successful event. True to its commitment, still Nuvali has always been an advocate of healthy living encouraging residents to get on their bikes and cycles a way to be fit through an outdoor recreation.

After seeing this event, my love for biking sports refresh again where different walks of people gathered around just to participate. Hopefully, I will definitely go back with this sport.
