Tagaytay Get-Away 2011
Heading to Tagaytay for a weekend getaway is always an escape for the family. Maybe because the place is just near to us and what more, the breezing of the cold air and white thick foggy entrance up thrilled us to go up more.
Along the way, kids thrilled to taste Christmas by munching to Puto Bumbong ang Bibingka. They love more puto bumbong especially the color. I don’t know with them but that is how they crave for this Christmas food.
As an extra food, hubby bought them a dozen box of Krispy Kreme goodies holiday donuts. Jeng loved the snowmen design and got this feeling if she will eat it immediately or just simply display it.
To feel the best of Tagaytay, our escapade during dinner will not be complete if we do not engage into eating the famous bulalo and tawilis at Mahogany Marekt. Price of bulalo is P 300 which is good for four to five persons while tawilis is P 120 per one dozen serving.
For desserts, we headed to Lourmar’s buko tart. Even it was about to close that night, we knocked to their door. The crew were very accommodating to still let us bought boxes of buko tart to consume at home and gave as pasalubong to friends.
The nine pieces buko tart in the box costs P 160.00.
